The Oregon Coastal Forest

Image
The Oregon Coastal Forest I have started a 4th Photo Book.   This volume will be my interpretation of the Oregon Coastal Forest.   I spend a lot of time exploring the forests that  are along the full length of the Oregon Coast.   I  take the paths less traveled, from logging roads, to Elk paths. I have a little un-modified Jeep Cherokee that gets me to most places I want to go, and those I can't I'm happy to pack my gear and hike In.  The Oregon Coastal Forest is magical, mystical and mysterious.  I try to go into the forest in all kinds of weather, different times a day, and all the seasons.  My goal as an artist, as always, is to Invite you to feel what I see.  This new volume will have images spanning about 10 years.  I usually go in alone as being in the Coastal Forest is kind of a Zen thing for me. However I do have a close special friend or two that travel with me sometimes.  It IS fun to share my exploring with someone special., when I'm walking within the Coastal Fo

Ship Art

Ship Art I've been capturing images of Fishing Vessels up close for some time now. I decided to put together a Photo Book with a lot these Ship Art images.  Most are fishing vessels and most were captured off the Oregon Coast.   I find the machinery is an art within itself and hoe these images will provide that feeling.   This book currently has a Paperback version and a eBook version.  All images are available as wall display custom created, just contact me for details. The images in this book span about 7 years, up to 2021.  Took about 3 years to put the images together for the book. Next project that is in the works is Art of the Coastal Forest.. stay tuned. Thanks

Next Project

Next Project. Intimate Visions - Personal Touches is now available as an Kindle eBook! There are two projects going on at the same time.  I'm creating larger, hardcover versions of the softcover version now available.  The higher end version will be custom order only. The other project has to do with Ships and Boats on the Oregon Coast.  Right now I am updating the two books to a hardcover book and adding new images and some surprises.  The hardcover will display the images in a more professional light. I hope to do at least four of these a year.

The Journey

The Journey The Intimate Visions journey started many years ago, when I started diving deep into the Oregon Coastal Forest looking for subject matter for my images.  I've always has a connection with nature, and most of us do, but I had the unique opportunity to spend extended amount of time with the Coastal Forest.   Since then the Intimate Visions ideas expanded to all natural environments in the Pacific Northwest.   My work has been invited into some of the most amazing homes in the Pacific Northwest, Bay Area,  as well as around the country.  The owners of my art are those who appreciate the time and effort an artist puts into their creations, and are very selective on what artist's work is displayed in their homes. I do have a website where those interested in my work can browse the art digitally on their electronic devices, but there is something about holding a printed image on any medium in your hands.   I've been asked many times for samples of my work, a few piece
